Subliminal Retreat~

Been kinda lazy with the posting recently....am a little fade up with fixing pictures and composing for a while.... I am running out of vocabularies.... xP

Here I am recommending a patisserie which I consider to be the best near the campus of the U. Oxford -- Maison Blanc



I often take out breakfast and lunch from here (take-away price is cheaper than that of eat-in)
I enjoyed almost everything I tried except one thing -- Eclair... which was really dry and hard... didn't taste like puff pastry....the the most terrible part was that there's No filling... it's hollow inside...and the cream coating on the top tasted artificial...

The picture below shows the strawberry eclair and Délice de Poires (Pear)-- the pear one is pretty rare and worth a try


Below: The 'CITRONNIER' is the (Best mini) lemon cake I've ever had! I had it for breakfast...dessert.... just couldn't get enough of it...The apricot tart on the right was ok.





Upper Left: Spinach Tart + Pepperoni, olive and artichoke salad.
Upper Right: Tarte Provençale (I Love this one.. tomato and cheddar are great match) + Smoked Salmon Salad.
Bottom Left: Croque Monsieur (French grilled ham and cheese sandwich) is good for BK. or a simple lunch!
Bottom Right: Millefeuille (ok) Ham and Cheese Sandwich (a must try... I like their chewy baguette... simple classic flavour)...and the mini milk I got at Sainsbury )
